This is a small presentation on Edward Gorey, a children's book illustrator.

Inky Bugs

 

 This is a watercolour and ink illustration of insects, done as a standalone piece with a different piece. The idea was to create random blobs of watercolour paint, and use ink to render them as bugs.

Inspirations

 

This is a small collection of images I used to help with the designs for the cover. At the top, images used to inspire the city, the bottom right is for the monster, and bottom left for the robots themselves.

Risk Assesment

As a class, we had to do a risk assesment on the project at hand. This is mine.

MY PIRATE c:

The idea of this exercise was to trace over a pencil sketch of a cartoon pirate and colour him in adobe Illustrator. This is my pirate, with an otherwise unusually coloured beard.

Batman and Robin

This is the result of a class exercise done in Photoshop. We were supplied with the graphics of Batman, Robin and a Table, and were then tasked to put them together in an image. While most people came up to a situation similar to mine, there were some more... raunchy submissions made.
